Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026
§ 1 Scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the use of the CalMirror service offered by Gietmanic, Daniel Gietmann, Siegburger Straße 129 B, 53229 Bonn, Germany (hereinafter the “Provider”). Any deviating terms of the user are not accepted unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity.
§ 2 Service description
CalMirror enables one-way mirroring of calendar events between calendars you have connected (including iCloud, Google Calendar, Outlook, CalDAV servers). The scope of functions is set out in the current product description on the website and in the application. The Provider reserves the right to further develop, expand or adapt the Service.
By default, the Service mirrors events with full details. For each mirror link you can choose whether only your availability (“Busy”) or a custom placeholder you define is transferred to the target calendar.
§ 3 Registration and conclusion of contract
Use of the Service requires a user account. Upon completion of registration (including confirmation of the email address), a user agreement is concluded between you and the Provider. You warrant that you will provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
§ 4 User obligations
- You may only connect calendar accounts that you are authorized to use and connect.
- Misuse of the Service, in particular any impairment of the security, stability or availability of the Service, is prohibited.
- You are solely responsible for the content and legality of the calendars you mirror.
- You are obliged to inform us immediately of any misuse of your account or security incidents.
§ 5 Availability
The Provider endeavors to provide the highest possible availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance work, disruptions at third-party providers (calendar services, hosting, email delivery), force majeure or other circumstances may lead to temporary restrictions. There is no claim to a specific level of availability.
§ 6 Prices and payment
The Service is currently offered free of charge. The Provider reserves the right to introduce paid features or plans in the future. In such cases, existing users will be notified in good time before any changes take effect. Where paid services are offered, the prices and payment terms displayed at that time shall apply.
§ 7 Liability
The Provider is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence, the Provider is liable only for breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded.
The Provider assumes no liability for damages arising from the use of external calendar services (iCloud, Google, Outlook, CalDAV), from incorrect or incomplete data provided by these providers, or from the outage of these services.
§ 8 Term and termination
The user agreement is concluded for an indefinite period and may be terminated by you at any time by deleting your account. The Provider may terminate the agreement with reasonable notice (generally 30 days). The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected.
Upon termination of the agreement, your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
§ 9 Changes to these Terms
The Provider may amend these Terms with effect for the future. You will be notified of material changes in good time by email or within the application. If you do not object within the period stated in the notice (at least 14 days), the changes are deemed accepted. In the event of an objection, you have a special right of termination.
§ 10 Final provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The place of jurisdiction is Bonn, to the extent permitted by law.
